The California Climate Investments Program (CCIP, formerly the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund or GGRF) invests the revenues from California's cap-and-trade auctions into programs to further reduce greenhouse gas emissions in our state. Per the funding plan adopted in the 2014 budget, the funding flows through three primary funding areas into numerous programs that improve the economy, health, and equity in California communities.
