Program Summary The Low Carbon Transportation Program supports the deployment of low- and zero-emissions vehicles to reduce greenhouse gases (GHGs) and air quality emissions while also catalyzing a more rapid transition to a renewable-energy fueled transportation system.

Eligible Projects The program funds vouchers and rebates for advanced clean vehicles, as well as pilot and demonstration projects for zero and low emission trucks, buses, and freight equipment.
