State Water Enhancement and Efficiency Program

Program Summary The State Water Efficiency and Enhancement Program (SWEEP) helps implement on-farm water irrigation systems that reduce energy use, save water, and reduce in greenhouse gas emissions. The funding for this program is allocated on an annual basis and the amount is determined by the Legislature. At least 25 percent of program funds must be spent in disadvantaged communities.
